Peer reviews will be done weekly. Each participant will randomly pick 2 names each week to review (by Friday at noon of the following week). Peer reviewers will add comments to the document they are reviewing. Constructive criticism is expected. Grammar and spelling errors should be pointed out. As a reader, also make suggestions on how the writer should make their journals more interesting, suggest pictures, graphs, tables or any content that would better the written document to make it more readable and effective.
By June 11, you should have reviewed 2 journals
By June 18, you should have reviewed 4 journals
By June 25, you should have added enough content to your journal (and made improvements based on the 4 reviews received) to your own journal, and should be able to present it to the group. Only 4 participants would be selected to present.
We will have 4 journal presentations each Friday at noon (from June 25-July 16). Each of these sessions will be scheduled as a lunch and learn. Lunch will be provided. Presentations will take place in Shumaker Bldg Room 139.
We will have a Journal Competition on July 23. We will vote anonymously for “Most Unique”, “Best Documented”, and “Most Interesting Read” categories. All 3 winner will get a prize!
