MUST READ/WATCH Before Arrival
Micro/Nano Experience Related
During the first part of our exciting IMPACT-NG program, you will collectively participate in a concentrated hands-on microfabrication and additive manufacturing experience where you will build and test micro/milli-fluidic chips using complementary advanced manufacturing technologies. In preparation for that unique experience, we ask that each of you read/watch the following material/videos BEFORE your arrival on campus. This will make your learning experience more productive and impactful.
Body Parts on a Chip – Really fascinating Ted Talk (13 min video)
Microfluidic-based Medical Technologies of the Future (3 min video)
An Introduction to Microfabrication via Photolithography (14 min video)
World of Microfluidics European Micro Cup – cute cartoon (4 min video)
Simple Fabrication of Complex Microfluidics Devices – ESCAGOT Method (6 min video)
